Rio Restaurant - Batiscan

The service was good, but the food was just ok, not outstanding. The outdoor patio was great though. It would be a good place to stop for a meal during a long road trip in the area, but probably not worth going out of your way for.

Recently, my family (4 adults/4 kids) dined at Rio and had an excellent experience. The service was top-notch, with the server making an extra effort to communicate in English with us. Despite our youngest child experiencing a tummy ache and vomiting twice, the server was incredibly understanding and assisted us without judgment. The food was delicious and the drinks were served cold. Rio is a charming restaurant located near the beach in Batiscan.

This restaurant is located on old route 138 (Chemin du Roy) in the camping-marina of Batiscan. The building is newly constructed and they offer a fresh, new menu. We have dined here multiple times and have always been impressed by the excellent food. The menu is extensive, the ingredients are fresh, and the presentation is lovely. They also have a good selection of wines and beers, as well as a nice outdoor terrace. While it is about a 20-minute drive from Trois-Rivieres, it is definitely one of the best dining options in the entire Trois Rivieres area. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

Nous nous étions arrêtés à l'été 2016 pour y prendre l'apéro. Cette fois-ci, nous avons décidé de souper sur la magnifique terrasse extérieure située près de la section Lounge.Le restaurant offre les petits déjeuners les week-end. Du lundi au vendredi, il y a un menu midi de 11h à 14h. Carte des menus: un choix d'environ une dizaine d'entrées; plats principaux: plusieurs variétés de hamburgers, club sandwich, hot-dog, poutines, pizzas, pâtes, bière en fût, des bières de la microbrasserie "A la Fût", du vin blanc, rouge ou rosé au verre ou en bouteille.Nos choix: Pâtes linguine au saumon fumé (sauce crème, saumon frais et fumé, tomates et parmesan) pour moi et une assiette cheeseburger et salade pour mon conjointNous avons reçu un excellent service.
