The Old Station Inn

We had a delightful experience at this charming, cozy pub with extremely welcoming and friendly hosts. The lunch we enjoyed in the old railway coach connected to the property was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch, receiving a rating of 5, and the location was also very good, receiving a rating of 4. Overall, we found this hotel to be a great value with many highlights.

A beautiful pub with an old railway carriage dining room. The pub is full of quirky interesting items around the walls and ceilings. The room we stayed in was warm, clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and made us feel most welcome. Well recommended to stay here. We did not have food here this time but from what we saw being served it was good portions and looked delicious. Have driven past this place many times but never stopped, decided to take a look on a recent trip out this time, what a lovely old place this was, the food and service was excellent, will definitely be calling again. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Great food in an atmospheric setting. Will suit people of all ages and food tastes. Our choices were a fillet steak, a mixed grill with every choice of meat imaginable both accompanied by fries and seasonal veggies also ours were wonderful pork tenderloin on a bed of mash with cabbage. All eaten with gusto. Sweet treats were the lemon posset, bread and butter pudding . Will I be returning, most certainly! Service: 5
