Bidrage med feedbackA large, soulless room with few windows and natural ventilation. It was a little like being in an empty biscuit tin! The staff were pleasant although most had little or no training. Breakfast was OK but unimaginative.
What a treat, all roads lead to Bath for a long weekend of indulgence into the world of Jane Austen. We travelled from Carmarthenshire to Bath with my sister and husband as we all love Jane Austen. We researched the surrounding area for a nice place to stay for what promises to be a brilliant weekend. Our hotel of choice was the Limpley Hotel, situated about 15 minutes away from Bath, It was a typical Bath stone building with ample parking. We found the hotel delightful, the staff are amazing and very friendly, the food was delicious. We will definitely stay at the Limpley Hotel next time we visit Bath.
We stayed three nights. The hotel is quite hard to find and the traffic in the area is a nightmare. The hotel is very old and worn. There are bits of maintenance being carried out but to bring it up to date would cost a huge amount. However, it is clean and the staff are very good. We ate in the bar the first evening both having chicken wings, chips and garlic bread. It was very nice. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of juices, cereals, cooked bacon, sausages, beans, tomatoes etc. Our room was small, single glazed windows but the heating worked well. Small TV on the wall, (no Sky news). Bathroom with bath and shower and soap and shampoo on wall. Bring your own conditioner. Towels white and fluffy. Ask if you want your room serviced every day otherwise it won’t be. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. We would stay again.
Hotel tired looking and in need of a facelift. Food was nice but room had old carpets and bed was.uncomfortable. Service and staff were excellen
Great location with fantastic views. Rooms look very tired and shower was far too small. Room was noisy and car park was full. Checking in was very slow although staff were polite and friendly.
