Ken's Charcoal Pits - Batavia

I have to say that this was by far the best restaurant we have experienced.. Starting with great customer service all the way to food. Lucy first and foremost was so pleasant. Not only did she give us the history of the place, but told us how the oven pizza became. She was such a pleasure. Ann was the other waitress, she trained, so she learned directly with my wife and me. Ann gave us a little tour through the place. Tell us what place the building was doing! Very fascinating and love the idea to come to pizza... Could I add that I'm excited to return. Thank you for such a great experience! Your lady skirt!

This Brisket Platter and Trash Plate was PHENOMENAL! Atmosphere is bar/restaurant clean, modern rustic, rebuilt, with some really cool decor and... Nice place! I really want to give it 5 stars because the food deserves 5 and more, but I wasn't because of the lack of luster care of the waitress, and that I never had a plate for the salad bar that was included with my meal, and it took 1.5 hours to get our food and eat when we sat the ONLY people in the dining room. It was just my husband and I.

Ken's Charcoal Pits Bar-B-Q is a very pleasant date destination. The people they are very attentive and welcoming as soon as you enter. The food is delicious, fresh and quite expensive for those of us on a budget. The combined friendly staff and cozy din in the atmosphere creates an unforgettable time with family, friends or a date:

My husband and I held a date (we had a sitter, so it was just us both). We have always insisted this restaurant with hopes to stop one day and today was this day! This restaurant is all 5 stars and more, in my opinion! The food was AMAZING! It wasn't too expensive, and the atmosphere was exactly what parents needed on our date! The staff was super friendly, helpful and very curious!!! My husband had the Pitt plate that was really good. The Mac salad is perhaps the best we ever had. I had the Buffalo chicken sluice with fries and it was just perfection! I HIGHLY recommend to everyone to try this place!

Our server Brooklyn was the best. We went in for a dinner and a movie promo, but time was tight only 45 minutes till we had to be to the theater. We told the server our plans, she had a great suggestion to be time efficient. We ordered everything it came out fast I had the Buffalo chicken pizza and my fiance had the margarita pizza, they came out quick and we're great. We had a great meal and made our showtime. Also the restaurant was clean and well maintained, and we had Buffalo chicken crunchers for an appetizer they where also very good.
