Carambola Beach Club - Basseterre

New Years Eve The menu was pre fixed $100 per 2 in our party of 4 selected the only option the vegetarian pre fixed still $100 We went early 7:15 because we had to get to the airport to pickup friends at 10:40 PM (15 min drive) We barely made it Every course of the meal took forever We had to ask or our waters to be refilled every time We had to ask for cocktails and wine they could have sold double our bar bill odd to me because our table wS nearest the bar. It seemed unclear who was responsible for our table The only person that seemed to care at all was a nice young man named Moses After our entree was served I asked him for salt and pepper By the time the salt and pepper showed up I was done eating. This is a huge beautiful dining room on a very busy night How were they not ready? Boggled my mind When every course would come the server seemed surprised that no one cleared the plates/ bowls from the previous course. A pre fixe menu is supposed to increase efficiency When we reminded them we were on the clock when we asked for the desert that was part of our menu They asked if we wanted to skip it. After a long wait for the check I had to go to the host stand and insist on a bill we had to get to the airport. A woman from the 4 top next us was up there doing the same her ten year old son was out of patience and need to go. That couple wanted us to join them is asking The Managment to make a financial adjustment to the bill. I never write negative reviews we can all have a bad day We went for dinner last year while on our holiday trip There were some issues but the room is beautiful and has a great vibe We travel a lot and are cool with the island speed of a beach bar I hope they figure it out I won’t be back

Service was terrible. Hostess said I was late for my reservation when in fact, I was early. She made me show her my Open Table reservation.

There were only three tables occupied one of which was finishing up. The service was virtually non-existent. For dessert we ordered ice cream and after 30 minutes gave up and left. When we complained they said they were catering a large group at one of the hotels and left no staff behind. Poor excuse. Will never go back again. By the way, the food was institutional and average. Not worth the trip.

The Carambola Beach Club has a pretty setting and the food was decent. The service for the price was terrible. We waited for over 45 min to have someone come back to the table where there was a party of 7. Water glasses were not refilled, waited on silverware, and they took so long to do everything that we cancelled the birthday dessert for the kids. When they finally gave us the check, they did not even provide a pen to sign. I approach the manager about getting a pen expressed this was the worst experience we during our seven day trip to St Kitts at any restaurant ranging from high end to beach shack. They did not even respond in any manner. Not worth the

Beautiful location. Service was impeccable and we were introduced to the chef before we ordered. Food was delicious and was a laid back atmosphere where you weren’t rushed. Would recommend highly! Only downside was they didn’t have our open table reservation when we arrived but quickly accommodated us!
