The Spice - Basingstoke and Deane

Tonight was the best meal my family has ever had at this restaurant! We have been regular customers for the 33 years it has been open, and tonight's meal was the most delicious and flavorful we have ever had. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the price was reasonable. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you to the staff for exceeding our expectations tonight!

I visited The Spice with my family, one of whom has a dairy intolerance. When I made a reservation over the phone, I inquired about accommodations for a dairy intolerance and was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. However, when we arrived and asked the manager for guidance on dairy-free options, he was not very helpful and only mentioned one dish. Despite this initial setback, we were able to find more options when ordering. The meal itself was delicious and we all enjoyed it, even my children. However, I have to lower my rating for the restaurant due to their lack of helpfulness in addressing our dietary needs. We have been to other Indian restaurants where the staff were more attentive and provided reassuring guidance on dairy-free options. The management at The Spice should consider improving their customer service in this aspect.

My second visit to Spice Restaurant was just as enjoyable as the first. The food and service were excellent once again. I tried the lamb tikka and pilaf, while my mother had the spiced special curry and my spouse ordered the lamb malaya. The spiced special curry was a mixture of various meats and kebabs. We all agreed that every dish was delicious. We paired our meal with Cobra beer, which complemented the food perfectly. The server provided good service, although I unfortunately didn't catch his name. He accommodated my request for extra spice without any issues. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, although the seating is a bit cramped. Overall, my experience at Spice Restaurant was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

Nice eating, good and quick service for dishes to take away and eat. I would definitely recommend the visit if they haven't tried it yet. beautiful chicken masala. if you order online, you will get the discount on your order when you collect in the restaurant. friendly and professional service and cheap prices.

My local curry house are the staff great and friendly. But eating will want them and this place I've been here for 25 years.
