Mac's And Cafe - Basildon

I went to this restaurant for a morning breakfast with my family. My youngest ordered beans on toast, but they had run out of beans and only gave him toast. The staff didn't even butter it, which made my 6-year-old cry. However, I ordered a full English breakfast and swapped my beans for extra mushrooms, which I highly recommend. The experience was made even better by a stripper who came to collect her money wearing an inappropriate uniform. I love this place!

We had a fantastic time at this bar. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. If you're looking for a fun night out, definitely stop by for a drink. It's a down-to-earth place with a basic but welcoming vibe.

I have visited Macs a few times for a drink during my lunch break, and the staff are always friendly and polite. The restaurant has undergone a recent renovation, and I enjoyed their paninis and beer. It is a cozy spot with comfortable leather sofas to relax on during my break. I am looking forward to returning soon.

It's a truckers cafe, so don't expect much. The food is adequate if not over cooked and sometimes over priced. The drinks seem to be quite dull, almost as if they've been watered down. The cutlery has dirty marks and the glasses had bits of egg on the rim, the toilets seem as if they have been stuck in the 1950's, and haven't been cleaned since then. The only thing that I appreciate about this place is the staff. I believe that the owners are husband and wife, the husband doesn't seem to do much and the wife is always rushed off her feet. Despite that, they were polite and kind and gave me a warm welcome. If you go here for a meal, don't expect much, but do stay open minded.

The service was ok. The price was a bit expensive for a full english but it looks like either the grill wasn't cleaning in between cooking meals or my food was burnt. I'm sorry to say there were black bits on my bacon and in my mushrooms and tomatoes?
