Restaurant Gempenturm - Basel

Great view, good food and exceptionally good service. The staff is very friendly, service was very fast, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. We felt very welcome. It's a great place to go, I highly recommend it.

The restaurant opened newly and is now called Bärgbeiz Gempen. This mountain close to Basel I would say offers a worldclass view over the region around Basel. The restaurant has great medium priced food, deserts and drinks. In the evening it is better to reserve...your table because especially on days with a clear view there will be many guests. You can either drive up there by car, bus or also take your mountain bike or walk. Gempen is also famous for sport climbing. Restaurant and Gempen is one of the places you must have been and also enjoy an amazing sunset.

Great excursion tip with the Vello or e-bike or motorbike or hiking at the Gempen tower or Gempen restaurant. There is always something going on. Great view and lots of hiking trails and barbecue, ideal for family or just a spontaneous trip plan. It's 100% worth paying a visit
