Went here for lunch with family on our last day in Switzerland. Very quiet so staff rather too attentive! Menu good we all had nice green salads to start then pork schnitzel which was delicious as was the apple strudel. Wine was reasonable.Pleasant restaurant and location
What was good: - friendly waitress, gave our daughter a sheet of paper and couple of pens Average: - 3 pizzas Not so good: - "italian" dressing tastes like something bought cheaply in large quantities (lower end supermarket quality) - olive oil (no taste)
They have a really great Capuccino at this place! The best one I had in Basel so far. The place has a really beautiful garden with a lot of tables and a lot of plants you can really enjoy, well mostly in the summer :)I would definitely recommend it. The staff is easy going which I like.
Salad came with a chunky white sauce, waitress did not ask us which sauce we would like to go with the salat. An Italien restaurant usually serves an italien dressing. Pizzas were swimming in oil, one pizza was ordered without olives, came with lots of olives but without onions instead. Pizza vegetariana came with carrots and cabbich, no spinach, zucchinis or eggplant, waitress did not know which vegetables were on the vegetarina but guessed it was olives, onions and bell peppers. The vegetable was cooked "sous vide" and did not belong on a pizza. We did not eat the pizzas because they were terrible, the waitress told us to order another pizza the next time if we didn' t like ours, the cook did not care at all and we were not offered any coffe or dessert. We were looking forward to eating out and it was a huge disappointment. Will never go there again
