Bidrage med feedbackSmallish Mexican joint in Basehor Kansas.12 of us went on a Saturday early afternoon after USM graduation.Salsa and queso 5 sService 5s Food 5s I had Cancun Tilapia....One huge tilapia filet...grilled, topped with 6 medium size shrimp and a big dollop of crab. All topped with a creamy poblano sauce. Absolutely as good (or better) than any Ive had in DFW Texas...where I live. More than generous portions/plates.Price to to value....excellent.If you are on 70 and your Mexican itch needs to be scratched, get off in Basehor, slip over to Rodeo on old 40 highway. You wont be disappointed.
This place is amazing, I love the hot salsa, they give you free queso as well. Everything on their menu is good and the best part, they make their own tortillas throughout the day.
Place is absolutely great! Very friendly staff, super delicious food, great atmosphere, great prices, and fast service. Planning to come once a week now!
Chips and drinks almost beat us to the table, portions are large and well worth the price. Children's menu had tons of options. Dietary restrictions: More than helpful substituting items for more low carb choices! Very keto friendly. Kid-friendliness: Great children's menu, large portions for the price and many choices to choose from.
Wife got the enchiladas Verde, I got the fajita chalupas. We've lived in Basehor for 6 years and only tried Rodeo once before and decided to give it another shot with a to go order. Did not impress. The chicken is virtually unseasoned and bland as bland can be. Our salsa cup had almost a whole tomato in it. Wife's entre was seriously lacking in the cheese department compared to the menu photo. The guacamole is just mashed avocado, no seasoning or spices. I tried to spice up my chalupas, which are actually tostada's, with mild salsa and it somehow made it more bland. They forgot my chile con queso for the chalupas (tostada's) but it wasn't worth the drive back to get it.On the opposite end, the chips and hot salsa are fantastic.
