Bartonville Diner

The food and staff are always great!! Very accommodating for smaller groups. Parking: It's normally busy, so parking can sometimes be hard to get.

Flew in from Phoenix- found this diner and it’s amazing!! I had the walleye Fresh and delicious! Great service-It was a busy Sunday and the restaurant was full, but the service was still great ! Will probably come back when I fly out to go home They have breakfast all day!

There were three of us for breakfast. Have been here a couple of times a long time ago though. We were quickly greeted and told to sit wherever we liked. Menus and drinks come quickly. Our food was delivered hot and very appetizing. We all Lived what we got and will definitely be returning. One last thing BEST Gravy I have had out in a very long time .

Great place, definitely recommend to anyone new to the area. Plenty of menu options, seating is spread out well.

Found this place while on a road trip because we wanted breakfast in the PM. Bartonville Diner filled the bill. We ordered omelettes, but we saw some fantastic Midwestern fare being delivered to nearby tables. If I go there again, I might try the walleye. The Popeye (spinach, bacon, and cheese) and German (ham, onion, green pepper, potato, and Swiss cheese) omelettes were great. They came with choice of hash browns or fries and a choice of toast or pancake. My hash browns and toast were great adds. I did notice that people who ordered dinner items also received a basket of fresh-baked bread. The service real butter and good coffee. If I had to change anything, I would use real cheeses rather than the cheese food kind of cheese for the omelettes. A thing to note is that while I could tell the building has once been a fast food place (based on the structure of the building), the inside and outside truly looked like a diner. The dinner has been there at least 20 years. I would go there again!
