The Courtyard - Barrow-in-Furness

I'm trying to be as objectiv as possible and write this review. 4.5 stars or 5 stars eating was really good, we really enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast. I don't know who the cook is, but he's dedicated to his craft. the sausages were perfectly boiled, hatebrown were crispy, the tomatoes were so juicy! the slices of the brotes were made too much roasted and sufficient butter was provided. they were good. the vegetarian option included vegetarian speck that I chose not to have, so I got 2 extra sausages instead, and I thought that is now a very generous part: also the fried eggs were perfectly cooked. my only thing was. the customer service. it was as if the people needed time to warm us; therefore I am hesitant to give 4.5 or 5 stars.

The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I ordered the steak Diane and my friend had the vegetable enchilada.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our son's 30th birthday. The staff was friendly and the dishes, like their version of a johannisbeer favorite and salt and peppered pork, were amazing. The house wines were excellent as well. We really enjoy dining at this place. Dalton is lucky to have such a great restaurant.

It is not a great resteraunt, but it has a beautiful ambiente, personal was very nice, and they feel like a regular, even if they are not. the food was offered with a good selection of warm and cold dresses at a reasonable price. there are no steps, and there is a ramp up to the toilets, there is no parking outside, but they can park in the Co-Op parking lot above the street.

I have visited many restaurants in Barrow and Ulverston, but this place is by far the best in terms of quality food, price, and service. It has a cozy atmosphere with no rush to leave. Catherine, who I believe runs the place, was very friendly and welcoming. She even expressed concern when we couldn't finish all our food, not because of the quality but because we ordered too much. I would definitely go back without hesitation and recommend anyone in the area to try this lovely restaurant.
