KoHyang House - Barrie

Absolutely wonderful experience. Lunch. Orders K3, K13 and A3. Fantastic services. Service fast and very friendly. Presents the Immaculate. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Limited menu, but something for everyone. Recommend KoHyang House to anyone who wants a delicious experience.

My family and I stopped at dinner last night. I am a cook and very fussy . I was thrilled with food and service! We split the appetizer plate. It was great to try all the goodies there. My main thing... was the quid... spicy and tasty. The squid was cooked for perfection. Other preferred choices on our table were the Kimchee Soup, Lemongrass Chicken with noodles and the pork shell on their “main” entree list.

We have been going to KoHyang for several years and have always enjoyed the food and service. The best thing is when Sarah works. If you don't know her, just ask her. She's a special jewel. Today we ordered the Gamjitang for the first time. It's amazing from the charts! My wife never disappointed her favorite bulgogi. My daughter had the Korean seafood pancake. The aromas are addicted. The portions are fantastic. People serve you with love. Don't miss this jewel.

My husband and I went here for lunch over the weekend and had an amazing experience. The restaurant was small and clean. When we waited for our meal, we were served a number of small and seasoned dishes. (Kimchi, Tofu, Cucumbers, etc.) We ordered the B.B.Q. Ika (drilled squid with teriyaki sauce that, never tried before, was a delicious treat. My husband ordered the Sundubu Jjgae (Soft Tofu, assorted seafood and egg served in spicy soup with rice he enjoyed. I was a noodle lover, had the Tteok Ramen (Ramen noodles with rice cake soup with beef vegetables and I was not disappointed. The rice cakes were like pillows of the sky. Both broths were spicy, but not overwhelming, and were packed with immense taste. After our meal we served a probiotic shot of milk, along with fruit and cinnamon sticks. The service was really incredible. This little hidden gem in downtown Barrie is a must try!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Barrie. The family running it cares about quality and by extension, its patrons. Diners are greeted with a small series of samplers on the house. All the food is fresh and tasty.
