Bidrage med feedbackIt's a beautiful place at the port front. The food was also served very quickly. I was surprised. The quality of the food was fantastic. We ordered their Bulgogi noodles and Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both were excellent. Also the sun was outside, so terrace was open, beautiful views also on the waterfront. I'd visit again. You have a parking lot at the restaurant, but also a parking lot on the street. They are free on weekends and pay for weekdays. If you have an EV. There are about 6 Tesla destination chargers and 2 J1772 fees on the street from the restaurant. Free fees, but you must pay for the parking lot.
Had a nice waitress (going to Colleen! who helped us make the best decisions for us! We are vegan and this restaurant had many delicious vegan options to choose from! We loved the Jackfruit pulled pork sandwich and the rice noodle stir fry with bulgogi tofu!
For the first time at Grillicious and believe me, it won't be our last! With so much change in Dunlop Street, this hidden treasure is an absolute jewel right at the corner of Hooters. The service: Heather was our server and she was incredibly attentive, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly to our 17-month, who was with us. Also to get to know the bartender Mackenzie and the owner/Koch Josie who were both super. Easy friendly service from all girls there. The food: Chef Josie told us that absolutely everything is homemade or from local suppliers with their own recipes right up to the hamburger rolls and sauces... and you can try it safely! Everything that came out was spectacular and so delicious. My poutine with Elchwurst was one of the best poutins I had, the sausage was really delicious and spicy, the engraving was thick and plentiful, but the freshly cut Russet potato fries won the price here. Next time I would like to try the food of Josie's homeland Indonesia, which they also serve here. Beer: It seems strange to say that somewhere has the best craft beer selection on Dunlop Street, when the incredibly popular Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery is just a few doors down, but they have managed to curate a taping list that celebrates the best of Ontario craft. Collective Arts, GLB, Lake of Bays and much more are coming on tap here and with some Amsterdam beers soon, I definitely found my Barrie water hole. Don't do what I did earlier, and just until Flying Monkeys, when you go down Dunlop, take a few extra steps to Grillicious and you won't be disappointed!
You'll notice immediately how welcoming and warm the staff are. So nice to be greeted and serviced by such a wonderful group of people (girls). I had the Balgogi sandwich with the hand cut fries. GF had the Balgogi on egg noodles (Phillipino inspired). Both items highly enjoyable. If you are craving hand cut fries do not hesitate to have this as your side. They're that good. Appears to be some talent in the kitchen. Good craft beer selection; opted for the Canvas (Huntsville) offering. One recommendation regarding the menu, identify the location of the micro breweries and it would also be helpful to list the ABV and IBU of each.
If you haven't been to Grillicious in Barrie you should run. We went there tonight to try it out based on Google review that said they had gluten free I looked them up and their menu looked promising so we went and we will be back!!!! I had the beef rice stir fry bowl and it was AMAZING!!! Way more then I could ever eat on my own and the waitress was wonderful about me being gluten free and the owner even came to check and the restaurant was quite. My husband had the fish and chips his was the same price as mine but not as much food but he said it was very good. Music was a little loud and we were outside. We will be back for sure
