Superior Grill Midcity - Baron Rouge

Patio is lively at Superior and service is outstanding, servers go out if their way to be a step ahead of your needs. Thankfully they are cautious in cleanups too, we left a prized item on the table and it was thankfully retrieved when it was picked up.

We have eaten many times here before and had no problems. But, last night we had arrived to a large party miss booking in the state of confusion in the dining room seem to have all the employees and uproar because they were just standing in the corner by our table, talking amongst themselves.We had a new server to us and she was delightful and colorful a true joy! AlinaShe’s a very petite lady with a lot of personality!!!!So when I had to watch her drag 6’ or 8’ tables off the dinning room floor by herself self. While a group of young men stood over in the corner and laughed. I got her attention from moving the tables around. And asked for her Manager.After speaking with him I knew there wasn’t probably any equality or a healthy work environment at this restaurant. He showed no concern for what I was bringing to his attention nor did he care.I found him to be very smug, arrogant, and very cocky! I’m assuming he’s a male chauvinist. By the way he was smiling at me.When I engaged him on how hard it is to find hard-working employees with a great attitude and he should take better care of his serves. He acted like I had three eyes.Treat your people better!!!!.

We went here for lunch on Saturday. Their food was delicious. We had their complimentary chips and salsa which were delicious and addictive. We ordered beef tacos, enchiladas, and beans and rice which were also delicious. The service was quick and their staff were friendly. The building was decorated nicely and it dimly lit and cool temperature during the hot day. There were a few annoying flies buzzing around us while we were eating. Their prices were expensive compared to other similar restaurants. Parking: There are more parking spots in the back area.

Margaritas are strong but not very good. The food was decent, but mediocre as Mexican food goes. Salsa thin and runny. It's way overpriced for the flavor profile. Service was good and she was friendly. One order was messed up, but quickly fixed it and they cooked/served the new meal right away. It's a fun environment, family friendly. Music and bands playing regularly.

We love celebrating at Superior Grill- the atmosphere is noisy but fun. Our only issue was we ordered egg dishes for brunch, and our waitress told us it would be an hour wait for breakfast (egg) dishes. That was kind of a bummer. We had to order other things from the menu. Our waitress was so apologetic and was wonderful.
