Jay's -b-q - Baron Rouge

If I could give a zero star, I would. I have eaten ribs, both pork and beef, from all over the U.S, and these, by far, are the worst I've ever eaten. Dry, tough, no taste. The BBQ sauce doesn't even make them palatable. Don't give me the excuse of COVID because they remain open. I would NEVER recommend Jay's Barbecue to anyone, even if I didn't like them. TERRIBLE!!

A Baton Rouge gem that’s been around for decades! Can’t do wrong with their food — their po’boys are delicious and they Jay’s BBQ is delicious.

Always great, service and food have been consistently great since my grandfather took me there in the early 1970s. Its was just as great last week.

I’ve eaten here for a few years and I always get the turkey po-boy. I’m not a big fan of turkey but I love the po-boy with their BBQ sauce. Also the staff is friendly and has quick service
