Bidrage med feedbackReviewed this restaurant in 2013, since then there has been a definite decline in the quality of the food - cold tart tartin, unidentifiable fish of the day and undercooked chips. We ate here twice on our last holiday and looked forward to visiting again - however, would not recommend this time, for the same money you can eat better in Carteret.Only given 3 not 2 stars as the owners are lovely and service great - our advice is to have a few beers here!
Very friendly and good value food. The pichet of wine was excellent and again good value. If we were in the area again we would not hesitate to return.
We found the location and the offsite ensuite bedroom very good. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and also offer two well equipped apartments. One day we asked if we could have a platter of shellfish the following evening .It was fantastic! the crabs were delicious and my partner said the oysters were very good, well worth asking for .We found all the food was good value and tasty.
We ate at this restaurant twice and loved the set meal menus, the dishes of the day were great value and freshly prepared. Our French is not the best but the waitress was great at describing the dishes in simple language for us and was really friendly.
The owner prepared our dinner himself. (Which was very good!). We had traditional Galettes and crepes. His wife introduced us to some local drinks. They were both warm and friendly.
