Nice, chill out restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff. Been here several times and also had deliveries, food are always fresh and on point. Its affordable, family friendly and also a nice, romantic spot. Whatever atmosphere you 're looking for that 's chilled out, you got it here and you can enjoy conversations without shouting over loud music like other places. Honestly, everything about this place is perfect and I recommend it wholeheartedly!!! Update 19th February 2023... Got mouthwatering dinner here last night and it was as fresh as daisy. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, even to my very young kids who earned themselves free chocolates and my 3yr old said mammy, we should eat there everyday I 'm not gonna lie, the food here is made with love. It 's authentic, fresh, delicious and pocket-friendly too. If you 've never had food from Red Onion restaurant, you 're missing out big time. Do it now and thank me later

Disrespectful and rude delivery driver! This business needs a change of delivery people. He called me asking me to come outside pretending to be lost saying he cannot find the flat. I told him I cannot leave because of my feet issues I cannot walk down the stairs. I told him if he cannot deliver I will ask for a refund. He then rang the bell, clearly not lost! I buzzed him in and he walked upstairs, knocked on the door. I asked him to leave the food at the door and he then forced my home door open! I was standing there shocked! The latch on my door must be faulty because I don’t know how else he got in. Such embarrassing criminal behaviour. He needs a good hiding! I then had to ask him repeatedly to leave the food there, close my door and leave my flat because I could not move but it took him very long to listen. He kept shouting saying you’re lucky we delivered to you when it’s so late because we don’t deliver at this time! I wanted to tell him Why the hell did you confirm the order then??? But instead I just kept repeating please close the door and leave. Will not be ordering from this place again. I should get a full refund.
