Angelo's Italian Eating Place - Barnet

I opted for the Pollo del chef, a chicken breast coated in breadcrumbs with cheese and aubergine, served with flavorful rosemary potatoes. My wife enjoyed the veal with mushrooms, cheese, and ham, which was also delicious. The entire meal transported me back to my time in Rome with its traditional, home-cooked flavors. The service was attentive and the staff were helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon to try more of their dishes.

This charming restaurant, run by a family, is a favorite of mine. The lobster risotto is delicious. The personalized service is top-notch, the food is excellent, and the wine selection is good. Be sure to make a reservation on weekends as it is always busy.

We had a party of 26 for lunch , they shut the restaurant for only us. The owners were so accommodating when we went there 5 days before to discuss menu choices etc. The food was absolutely 1st class, everyone 's food was perfectly cooked, presented and piping hot. We chose this venue for my fathers 'Celebration of his life ' for just family and very close friends, it was just what my father would have liked, old school type Italian restaurant, fantastic food over all 3 courses and superb Service. Superb family Italian restaurant. the place is very small with about 7 tables, so they have to book if they want to go to the weekends. we started with the calamari and mozzarella with tomaten as appetizers. very nice introduction with large portions. I ordered the pollo del koch, the chicken breast was coated with cheese and eggplant in broth crumbs. it comes with potatoes with rosmarin, which was very tasty. my wife had the calf with mushrooms, cheese and ham. again very tasty and on the square. the whole meal reminded me of my time in rom with traditional house cooked meals. good service with helpful staff. very recommended and will soon return to taste the other dishes.
