Skippers Seafood - Barnegat

What an amazing roadside seafood restaurant and store. The grouper dinner was amazing and very plentiful.

I really enjoy it not my first time there not my last good bang for the buck

We went in July and were so disappointed. We arrived at 4:40 and were seated within 10 minutes which was good. If we had been 5 minutes later we would have had a 45 minute wait. We felt very rushed to order and the food came out very quickly. Although the food was very good it was extremely noisy and a large group of drunk golfers were seated across from us. They were vulgar and rude. That really ruined it for us. It wasn’t just us that were annoyed another table of people next to us asked to be moved. We felt eating there it wasn’t worth it. To crazy and rushed to enjoy the good food. We were at skippers years ago off season and enjoyed our meal upstairs over looking the water. If you can, go off season.

This place was great. Super friendly. Grabbed some crab legs before heading home to Philadelphia. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Will stop every time I leave the island.

Good food, great prices. This is a very tiny place, come when weather is nice to sit outside. Sitting inside will require a reservation.
