Poienita - Bârlad

One of the few restaurants in barlad that offer online payments. the food was carefully wrapped and delivered quickly at the gate of the sick house (covid ward). very delicious food and generous portions. the chicken soup had homemade noodle-yummy! overall a very good experience. we will. use definitiw again. Thank you!

The restaurant is located in the central park of the city and access is permitted also by car from the main road. The location is really nice and the terrace is very big. The waiters are nice and helpful. We had a late lunch here...but disapointed that we found no soups at all at 4 p.m. The second course looked good (really impressive for expected) and it was tasty. I had chicken with mushrooms and parmesan and got a well oven cooked dish even if The menu didn’t say this. My friend had pork with potatoes and was pleased with it. Prices are similar to Bucharest, therefore 2 second courses and 2 cofees had a check of 100 lei. Overall good and I would recommend it.

They Brough Me The food cold.and when i asked The waitress things told Me Yes and forgot to Bring.when i asked The bill i needed to go to bar to pay because passed 30 minutes and i didnt recived At My table!i dont recommend this...restaurant.

Whilst staying in Barlad for a fortnight long charity project, Poienita was the closest restaurant to us, ensuring a fair few visits. The location was lovely, situated in Barlad's flower filled Gradina Publica. Each time the food was appetizing and served speedily, with the odd forgotten...dish (which to be fair was probably due to the size of our party between 13 and 15). The staff were friendly and accommodating, being quite happy to shunt tables together to make room for our group. Most of the waiters spoke enough English to take our orders and there was no significant language issues. Poienita was, however, the most expensive restaurant we frequented, although a good sized meal with a drink never topped 40 RON (about £8) for me. All in all, a very pleasant restaurant.

Somehow hard to get there, but eating was amazing and the service super. eating is a bit expensive, but they get really big portions.
