We dined here for a rehearsal dinner the night before a wedding. I was most impressed by how beautiful the courtyard was! We didn't order from a menu as it was set due to the private event, but the food was delicious. Large portions. I can't speak to the price, but if you're looking for a good meal with great ambiance in Barichara, definitely give this place a try.
Now we didn't eat in Don Juan because it was closed during our stay but otherwise this restaurant offered the best dining in Barichara. Set in the courtyard of the artisanal handicraft centre this very pleasant destination has a comprehensive menu. The young if inexperienced staff were keen to please despite my atrocious spanish and I ate a very satisfactory rack of lamb. Very nice ambience and not too expensive. Clearly readily frequented by the Columbian tourists themselves I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner in Barichara.
We loved finding this place accidentally. A foundation that makes a super contribution so that hundreds of young Santander residents are trained in multiple arts. One of the disciplines: cooking. We enjoyed it in a unique, fresh garden with excellent attention
Great place to try local food. This is a restaurant within a recovered colonial house. Here you can try Carne Oreada which is sun dry beef, typical dish from this part of the Country, an many other delicacies!!! It is not only a restaurant it is also place for craft market, coffee shop and art gallery
