Bidrage med feedbackUnbelievably rude. Rolling of the eyes is never acceptable when asking a question. Told us there would be an hour wait but once we went inside we thought we would be okay but we were greeted with an even rudder person. Even if the food would have been amazing the experience of not welcoming customers is not a place I would choose to eat at.
My (local hotel receptionist suggested this place for the 1 night I had in Bari. I loved sitting outside in a place that felt really Italian. I'd googled the place the menu, so knew what to expect. It opened at 8pm, I got there early and was told to come back I booked. (I passed the time in a nearby bar . I knew there was no rush. I knew that a table had to order 2 of the primi, but in the case of a single patron, I could choose from a couple of dishes only. I chose Carbonara and then a main of mixed fried fish. Both were delicious. I could not finish all the fish (the octopus was so light and crispy, it all went! Then I had a delicious pear choc cake. I knew that the star dish was pasta with ragu of horse meat and the owner indicated that it was indeed delicious, but I just couldn't come at it mentally. My problem! : This is a place where you respect the owners and fall into their routine and you will benefit in every way. This food is good and it is the real deal!! And it is very reasonable!
Le Travi truly captures the essence of Bari, both through the impeccably crafted local dishes (try the amazing patate riso e cozze), and through the bubbly welcoming character of their staff. 5 stars as I cannot give them 10 on here, bravi!!
Great fiske, nice grilled, salat poor tomato and boring salad without taste. the waiter was not very friendly. Maybe he should be free today. 10 eur for fish is very ok price.
Siamo venuti qui per assaggiare le famose orecchiette alla cime di rapa e devo dire che erano davvero buone, come quelle con il ragù. Frittura buona anche se non abbondante.
