Šaris Castle - Bardejov

Nice ruin of an old fortress, nicely restored and still work in progress. Perfect for a nice walk and picnic.

Nice ruins of castle. The area is used as a picnic park, so bring some food with you. You can even sleep in one of the old towers.

Beautiful history of saris area. bought t-shirt and magnets. perfect for children. option to do bbq on own faust or buy something. also available. beautiful view on hills and areas. highly recommended

One of the oldest burg in the region presow. to reach the castle, they either have to go up 2 km on the hills or drive it up. there is a parking space at the bottom where you can park and go the car. they get the good view of the city from the top of the castle. the lock is in ruins and there is an entry fee to get into the lock. good place to visit if they have two hours of time when they stay in presow. the road that leads to the castle from the parking lot is not so good and is even risky for the intermediate cyclists.

A huge, beautiful burgruine on a hill with a view of East Slovakia. helpful tour guides can get them into the tower and has many helpful information about this and other castles. incredible views they see polen, the ukraine and Hungarian. be ready for a walk 30 45 minutes to walk through the forests to reach the castle.
