Bidrage med feedbackWe went to dinner (a group of five people) and had a wonderful, delicious dinner. the personal greeted us like family. the parts were large and had a local flair. would not have asked for a nicer, friendly restaurant. a casual place, we ate. outside doors we were so impressed that we went to dinner in the next night. tomb
Good fresh home cooked eating, nicely expensive, could not go wrong, not open Monday, personal were great. in the center of the city.
From the road, this place looks a little down at the heel and the intention of a wonderful lunch a little unlikely. a scattered brandy, assorted plastic chair and a reception area without, I think it is fair to say, a coordinated concept to the facility and... decoration form the first impression. it was however the first correct day of our holiday, the clouds and the rains from the day before were left an early summer day of the purest Provencal light filter by leaf-shaped plan trees in village places and it was lunchtime. the staff was friendly, monsieur le chef made appearance to check everything was ok and the food was all delicious. the 15€ menu will change naturally, but with illustration we were served some small toasts with tapenade and a green Garlicky spread to awaken the appetit, a derée of garnel salat on an avocado base and a main course of senf chicken pliers with frit and a zucchini-based grilled vegetables concoction. dessert was a piece of apple cake with crème anglaise and a small glass with a soft cheese cake, which was structured with shrunk cocosn nuts with berry coulis. nothing about complicated, beautiful aromen and very good value. a sign for smoking in a counter, eating people, when will the French get it?
We came to Barbentane to visit this closed but were disappointed to close it. this disappointment was deleted by le saint jean. their daily menu was delicious with tried notions in traditional French cuisine. good eating, good service and a pleasant environment made it a good day.
