Rabaya - BARBARESCO

We ate on the grape vine covered terrace with a stunning view of the surrounding hills and vineyards. That set the stage for a wonderful lunch with excellent wines by the glass, including a Barbaresco, among others. The food was great. We had veal that was terrific, and a roasted eggplant with burrata and pesto that was outstanding. Highly recommend!!!

This restaurant has a very good welcome and service with an outstanding view of the vineyards and the mountains. Food is very well presented and has a correct taste.

Friendly restaurant serving local cuisine and an excellent selection of wines by the glass on a terrace overlooking the hills of Barbaresco. Very well executed, including the degustation menus. The attached accommodation is also very good (see separate reviews).

We went to the restaurant on a recommendation given by a friend. When we arrive the staff was friendly and welcoming but things quickly went down hill from there. We were a table fo fine and ordered a local wine that we just tasted we had one bottle to start the evening and then learned they did not have a second bottle in stock, one would of thought they would have told us to start. Three people had just the starter and main and the other two had the full menu with three. The staff did not understand how to server the and brought the starters for some and the second for others which meant that by the third course some would have just been sitting and waiting. However, given the number of mosquitoes they had to leave the table which left two sitting for a long period. When we tried to raise our concerns with the manager, she simply walked away. We could have forgiven the poor service but unable to forgiven the attitude of the manager. She proposed our payment and just ignored us. Avoid at all cost.

As this restaurant was already recommended to us, we expected excellent cuisine and views and everything. So it was... everything excellent.
