The food and service was excellent! I had the prawn dumplings to start which were really good, and a pretty big portion so could have easily been shared. Ordered the mixed nigiri (small) and it was fantastic. Really fresh and looked great. Everything our party had was great! I’d eaten in the Sydney restaurant a few years back and was impressed then, so glad when I saw one in Melbourne and it did not disappoint. Great restaurant, excellent food and service and a fantastic view sat outside by the river. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely adore the variety of Asian cuisine and drink options available in Melbourne, and Sale Restaurant and Bar ranks among the top establishments in the area. I highly recommend trying their umeboshu drink or sake for anyone interested. While the prices may be on the higher side, the exceptional service makes it all worth it.
