Woods pit crashes and burned under Liz the new yet perennial grumpy owner. As server and the servers loved a good tip for a good drink or meal served. No longer the same. Old crew gone as well as happy hour. Went from many times a week to once a year. Liz people skills now the culture as owner and my usual happy hour meal is now $30 up from $13. The pulled pork is so juicy and tender. Amazing. The French fries crispy on the outside, tender potato on the inside. The brisket was tender and flavorful. Great BBQ food. Crazy to see such mixed reviews! We have been going here easily for 15+ years. It is under new ownership over the past couple years but we've still had great food there! Their chicken wings and margaritas are the best. They also have a sausage crisp which may not be on the menu anymore which is so yummy!! Mexican food is good but not perfect. Smoked meats are delicious. If they had amazing sides it would be 5 stars for me! They could certainly be more inventive and inspired to really add something special.
