Montezumas Mexican Restaurant

We have been coming to Montezumas in Coolangatta for about 15 years and it has never let us down. We always make sure to visit between the 18th and 23rd as they never disappoint and are always a highlight of our trip. We may not be able to tip this time as we are on a tight budget, but hopefully they will still remember us even though we may have aged a bit. See you soon.

The food at this restaurant is always delicious, hot, and of high quality. For those who are unsure of what to order, I recommend trying the Durango dish. For vegetarians, the San Antonio nachos with guacamole or the Frijoles Enchilada are both fantastic options. If you're not a fan of raw vegetables, I suggest trying the Joy of Montezuma salad with a substitution of guacamole or chili con/sin carne if it's included in one of their combo meals.

The food was awful - it was cold on the inside and hot on the outside. I was very disappointed. I recommend going to Burleigh Heads for better food compared to Coolangatta.

Eating here is always good, even if the restaurant begins to look a bit tired, very slow to the tables even if not busy, not enough staff

Obviously this restaurant is goid because it was full if diners. Luckly we got there early and got a table. Food was delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable Mexican meal.
