Hilton Garden Inn Bangor

Service in the breakfast restaurant was a little spotty. Out of yogurt or nonsweetened cereal. Pool is small but nice. Standard exercise room. Rooms are comfy.Rooms: 5/5

We attended a concert at the Cross Arena. There are hotels closer to the venue. Given our experience, the short 10 min drive was worth it. I will stay here the next time we attend a Bangor concert. Hotel staff clearly love their jobs; all are friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy (and I'm picky), and the rooms were clean. A wonderful stay all around.

A group of 50 of us stayed at this hotel for a retreat/conference. We were treated like family and at the same time, treated as special guests. The food was fantastic, the employees were beyond professional and overall it felt like we were at a five-star hotel!Rooms: 5/5

I love the location of this hotel as it is in downtown Bangor but off a side road so there is a lot of green space to enjoy outside and relax. Rooms are well appointed and they have a decent restaurant. They are also very close to a number of restaurant chains as well. If I were to give it any critism, it would be the weekend buffet. I will admit that it is not very expensive but it was sparse on choices. Especially in the fresh fruit area. We also dined there one evening and they had a great menu. The food was very good. The other thing I noticed, and this is not just this establishment that is doing this, is the Not cleaning the room unless you request it plan. A lot of hotels have embraced this idea. They give the guests the idea that they are doing it to save the planet but in fact it is just to save money. As a guest, you feel a little guilty to ask them to clean the room. We even had to ask for fresh towels each day. I guess you can 't blame the hotels for trying to save money post Covid as they took a large hit for almost 3 years.
