Bidrage med feedbackStuffed Haddock was not actually stiffed, but layered, which is really not that big of a deal. What was a bigger deal was that there was supposed to be bits of seafood in the stuffing--I found no evidence of this and the stuffing had no flavor of seafood or anything at all. The haddock was good and a reasonable portion. The onion rings were excellent! Very reasonable prices. I will likely try it again and order something else next time. The waitress staff were friendly and lots of smiles.
Great food and service! First time in Bangor MN. and hopefully not the last. Hope to return to this gem soon!
Great local diner with a small locals bar in the back. The only bad thing I can say is sometimes it's hard to find an empty seat. The good is Allstate consistently good. They have daily specials that set them apart from any other local mom and pop restaurants. Great beer selection. They just recently placed the parking lot. This is a family owned business and the service is always great. They are an Untapped verified venue. It is a nice casual setting.
For what it is advertised as it is great!!! Family Restaurant I kind of take it as a local hang out!! With that said, we had good food and service. Had the chicken cutlet, mashed potato, and roll. With gravy Tasted great to me The hidden gem is the pie!!!! Made in House. Fantastic taste!!! In town for Acadia and wanted a comfort food meal, this place has it.
I am not one for crowds and spectacle. I like my peace- the right atmosphere. I like walking into a place knowing that the waitstaff will either already know my order by heart, or recommend an order from the heart. I like a chef that makes every order a unique masterpiece, a bartender that studies her wall of delicious potions and brews something special just for you. A place where locals convene and travelers find out about through word of mouth I know a place A hole-in-the-wall, practically busting out of the wall, with a menu brushing every corner of Americana cuisine and an ambience that gruffly whispers, You 're among friends, now tuck in!
