Slanted Taco (sukhumvit 23) - Bangkok

Excellent Mexican cuisine in Bangkok! I don't know how authentic you can get without Mom's making tortillas in the kitchen. But this place began with Amigos cakes and they certainly trained this Thai cook, which is about Mexican food. The food is hot and delicious. From the great American southwest with the family both sides of the border I must say Slanted Taco is my kind of space for foreign Mexican foods.

Great food from Jorge Bernal, a cook that has been in the Bangkok scene for over a decade. There is a really pleasant menu with traditional recipes and some creative new ones. I loved the idea of the 3 Salsas. The spiciest is the best imho. Possibilities of Tequilas (a bit pricy the shots) and 4 options of Mexican beer. Great surprise. 7 minutes walk from BTS. Easy access.

Great place, really Mexican flavor. The green sauce in the chicken sauces is the sky. Maybe change the spring onion for coriander, but still amazing and for a really reasonable price for quality. Come back.

Best mexican food in bkk. But we got the same two servers twice. I know being a waitress is hard but they make it look impossible. They have scowls on their faces, they give vague directions to dirty tables and then get upset when you sit at the wrong table. Their attitudes just sucked. The food is amazing though and its always packed. Great afternoon spot.
