Bidrage med feedbackThis place just oozes old world charm. It’s like stepping into a colonial era coffee house. The food is great too. Roast chicken with stuffing, Prawn Biryani, English breakfast, Pork ribs, Chocolate mousse- all were top notch. Only the steak in Steak Onions was tad overcooked, even though I had ordered it medium cooked. Planning to go back for some of their breakfast treats once the situation normalises a bit.
Definitely a legendary outlet . It has the old world charm of a cafe bar. Any dish on the menu will taste fine. It’s not a gourmet stuff . So don’t expect high dining standards. But a must visit.. parking could be a challenge. We tasted mutton toast and Bombay toast. Both didn’t disappoint us. Will surely visit again.
Had heard a lot about this place and its history. Loved the decor.. took me back to Malgudi Days. Came here on a Friday morning after a walk through Cubbon Park. The service here was super friendly and always ready with suggestions.Wanted to try the appam n stew but realised its there only on Sunday mornings. So ordered some Chutney sandwiches.. omg the bread was sooo softtt.. was delicious.Ordered some Jam Toast.. got a bit hard towards the end cz they use thick bread.. but damn was yum.And finally.. the Spanish Omelette. This blew me away. I dont usually order this as its too much of veggies. But one of the waiters suggested this and we went with it. The veggies were sauted perfectly with really good seasoning and cheese! It was perfect. The prawns biriyani was good.. quantity huge, but nothing special. Their meat puffs tastes homely. The koshy's special coffee was really strong and the orange juice was so so freshh!Definitely going back for the appam n stew mutton omelette :D
Excellent old school style dining. Relaxed unhurried atmosphere with good food and service. Customers all look like locals who have been coming there for years. Good location in the heart of Bangalore and clean and well maintained.. coffee. Baked beans on toast . Scrambled eggs .must try my frd loves the fish curry rice here also Saw few ppl have turkey on their table Christmas days
If you're looking for a great place to dine in and an ambience that feels like its built to hold intellectual conversations, look no further than Koshy's.<br/ <br/ It faces the danger of being overhyped, but that doesn't take away from the great food quality.
