Beavertails Queues De Castor (banff West)

Wait a minute, why did I try this place in vancouver, bc? I guess banff asks himself, it's the best dessert for a delicious meal, they get a coffee and they're hired. we ordered a bananarama very tasty with the right amount of bananas as a springboard.

Okay, not the best service or very quick but the beaver tail was incredible as always!

Delicious thin donut-like consistency beaver tail shaped desserts. You can also elect to go savory with poutine toppings. The girl at the register overcharged us for what we ordered and was slow, but otherwise a fun Canadian dessert to try. Expect a wait, there's been a line every day we've walked by.

We tried this because it is such a local thing. Tasty, fried bread with toppings so you get just what you order with no real surprises.

First time visiting Banff/Canada, and I had read some articles that mentioned beavertails were a must-try, so I was excited to stumble across this shop while walking around Banff. I got the Bananarama, and it was love at first bite. This would be a regular stop, if it were available back home.
