I can't get over how good the chicken is. Super tender and soft, you can cut it with a spoon. Really good flavour as well. Love the marinade they use. You must have it with salted fish. Party in my mouth. Come in the evenings for their specialty soups. I had the pig's brain soup which came in a herbal based broth. Delicious. I really enjoyed my meal and that's saying something.

The claypot chicken rice was absolutely scrumptious with a generous amount of tender chicken. Also, the hearty steamed coconut chicken soup is something to indulge in along with the rice. No wonder they say chicken soup is best for the soul.

I have been frequenting this claypot chicken rice restaurant since 1989 when it was originally located opposite the PJ Old Town Wet Market. The whole family loves the tasty rice mixed with the juicy chicken cooked in a rich dark sauce. And we just can't get enough of their soups. Pity they have taken terrapin off their soup menu.

Has been eating here for more than 10 years.. Their quality and standard of food still maintained. Highly recommend.
