The food on our last visit in 2020 was a lot nicer staff seemed very young and lacked experience we were not asked how we wanted food ie beef cooked it came out blue and service was quite disjointed

Most helpful friendly staff. Great food well presented in comfortable surroundings. Overall a very pleasant experience. We will be back again!

Saturday lunch for seven tired ladies after a long morning of hiking over the hills. Greeted by very welcoming staff and had the restaurant to ourselves. Wonderful food! Large portions! Very happy and will definitely cone again next time we visit the area. Thank you for a fabulous lunch.

We enjoyed the meal here, which was nicely served and well presented, and indeed a pleasant meal. The negative was that the online menu was a sample, and in reality rhere were only two meat items available on the menu. One of those was steak, and the other was steak pie.

Food was excellent though slightly limited choice, maybe due to lunch time and time of year. We were greeted warmly and staff were very attentive Will go back again
