Bidrage med feedbackI recently had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant, where I enjoyed a tasty quiche and a delicious chai iced tea. The interior is nicely decorated with comfortable lounge chairs and regular seating. Outside, there is a lovely shaded area that is perfect for dining.
This café has plenty of parking space at the back and direct access. Customers have the option to sit indoors or outdoors. The interior is furnished with quirky armchairs and coffee tables by the front windows, as well as small tables for 2-4 and larger dining tables for 6, all with comfortable chairs. There is also a separate area that can be booked for private functions. The décor includes an interesting collection of decorative items. The dining room is cozy on a cold day in Melbourne, with the sun shining outside. The lunch menu may be limited, but it offers a variety of options including meat, vegetarian dishes, focaccias, and cakes from the display. They also have a selection of specialty items and the staff is very friendly.
A new addition to the cafe scene in North Balwyn offers a quirky, op-shop chic decor with a hint of spice. The restaurant was only half full when I visited. The food, while beautifully presented, was limited to a breakfast menu that seemed to transition into lunch with options like focaccias and stuffed croissants. There wasn't a wide variety of choices displayed. Despite some disorganization, the service was friendly. With a few menu additions and better organization, this cafe has the potential to become a popular spot for breakfast or lunch.
With adequate parking out the back this cafe has direct access from the carpark. You have the option to sit outdoors or indoors. The furnishings are quirky with armchairs and coffee tables in the front windows; small tables for 2- 4 as well as larger dining tables accommodating 6+ all with mismatched chairs which adds to the allure of this place.I also noticed another dining area which I assume can be booked for private functions. On display is an interesting collection of tins and decorator items. On a cold Melbourne day with the sun out, the dining room was very cosy.We came for lunch and whilst the food offering is small it certainly covers all bases with meat, chicken, vegetarian options and also foccacias and cakes from the display.A lovely assortment of specialty teas is also available and the staff are very friendly.
Another addition to the North Balwyn cafe scene, the decor is quirky op-shop chic and felt a little sparse, even half full. Likewise the food, although nicely presented, there was only a menu for breakfast, lunch seemed to be what was on display - foccacias, filled croissants and similar and there wasn't much to show. Nevertheless, service was friendly, if very disorganised, so when this is sorted and some menu offerings added, this will be a great little cafe for breakfast or lunch.
