Ruth's Chris Steak House Pier 5

Ruths has really disappointed on a consistent basis except Pikesville. The old Water Street location was reliable every time. Pittsburgh and Louisville are also reliable. Even our dinner last month in Ruths in San Antonio was bad. 212.00 plus tip to spend 10 for parking and tip and hunger is frustrating. San Antonio screwed up our anniversary, so I told my wife when we come back to York, Pennsylvania, I'd put another date. It was tonight. What makes it worse, the front knew the waiter knew and still messed up. Too many ways to try.

I have no complaints, only compliments.... forward-looking, to dinning again!

Our waiter was very helpful but in general flow was poor and the food was over cooked.

Steaks were cooked exactly to order. Service was wonderful. We got our food hot and fast. Waters were consistently refilled. We had multiple table visits from our server and manager to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We weren’t expecting and did not ask for a free dessert for my husband’s birthday but our server made it happen for us which was such a kind gesture. My only critique is the decor/restaurant itself looks a little dated. Kind of like a prom or banquet hall set up but I can ignore that with the wonderful experience otherwise. 10/10.
