Bidrage med feedbackWe frequently visit this restaurant, Joan and John are lovely. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend it. (Make sure to try the battered cod, it's my wife's favorite)
Always a nice place to eat. we didn't have to wait long for our meal. I had a nice fish dish. the bar eating here is always good and will visit again
My wife and I were stumbled where we were going to eat in the city last night. my caddie has suggested mccooleys. So why not, we sat on the veranda immediately, they were a little busy and the two were more waiter. our waiter took our drink order and answered our asking about the menu, especially what is black pudding after we were told that my wife was a little squeaking, but I did try. I had it with black bell and black medallion it was delicious. my wife had a frying court. the parts were enormous. we got dessert and it was very good. So besides a slow service and they had a problem with their credit card machine. I would definitely go to dinner again.
Enjoyed our meal, but meat portion was very small, vegetables were varied and sufficient. since this was a Saturday night, we waited for the Trad session in cash. the music and singers were excellent. but when you visit the women's toilet, they made a lot too... they had definitely not been cleaned all day and no notice was displayed when they were last cleaned. toilet seat wet and excretion on the bowl and under seat. toilet paper on the floor painted. if they sit near the men's toilet, you can get a strong smell from urine out of it.
Just unbeliever best food wine service special touches by the manager and staff, have to say craic in the bar after dinner with the trad Irish music was the cherry on the cake , no wonder the place was full with free finger food and...cheers a new year I will repeat again as they also have excellent bedrooms, however I did notale breakfast but enjoyed my sleep in till 1 pm, see you all in the summer
