Free Time Restaurant - BALLARAT CENTRAL

Finally Ballarat gets a Chinese/Malay restaurant that serves up tasty dishes full of flavour. Good variety on the menu allowing shared (love the Szechuan dishes) or individual (Hawker style noodles/rice - great Char kway teow) dining. Licensed, nice simple decor, friendly staff. And they are currently open for lunch on Sunday....great value, central location in Mair St. Enjoy.

We have dined here on numerous occasions and this has to be the the best Chinese dining experience in Ballarat. Authentic, fresh and beautifully cooked traditional southern Chinese foodFull of flavour, spice, heat if desired, and all home made by a young and enthusiastic team offering their traditional fare.A small, but quality beer/wine list compliments the experience.Specials change regularly (chili chicken to die for, when available), but staples such as the unagi (eel), songshu fish (magic), and dumpling starters are excellent.

This restaurant is clean and excellent. Delicious food and nice service. Recommendable restaurant in Ballarat.

I would really like to give a higher star rating for this restaurant.

It's difficult to review this restaurant because one visit was fantastic while the other was disappointing.
