Ballandean Tavern

This is the start of empty plates. Bit confused about the negative reviews as our whole table sent our plates back in the same way I did, empty! And everyone said the meals were delicious. You are going to have to come here and try the food. Absolutely fabulous after bush walking. Thank you.

Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised with the entire experience/establishment and confused on the negative reviews? We couldn't fault a single thing! The customer service was lovely. LThe accommodation was beautiful. The shower is huge, the beds are comfortable and the room is spacious. If you need anything, you can ask for it. The food though! Rump steak and chicken snitzel was perfectly cooked and fresh. We had it with the chips and salad, which was excellent as well! We will certainly be back and encourage travellers to give the place a chance. It's certainly worth it.

The accommodations were excellent. I stayed in a modern, beautifully maintained spacious room next to the pub. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff was lovely, and the beer by the fireplace was fantastic.

This restaurant has a casual and friendly atmosphere with amazing food. It's definitely worth a visit. We loved this charming town, the tavern, and the staff so much that we decided to have our wedding at the tavern. We plan on returning every year to celebrate our anniversary.

The service at this restaurant is incredible! We highly suggest trying the steak during your visit. You will instantly feel at home with the warm welcome and friendly smiles from the staff.
