Sonic Drive-in - Bakersfield

It's never busy. super easy in and out for eating or just a drink. the personal is friendly, friendly amd fast. parking is quite clean and a use on the opposite side of rosedale hwy there are no homeless or bums. great location and great people sonic. great work on this. they deserve all raises. after all, it is baker field and the outside speed 120. these are the people who make their business model. all sonics are pretty good, but this is exceptional. I was here many times. I live near a sound on the other side of the city and drive 25 minutes to go to this. yes, even with the price for gas.

Food is always great but staff is kind of sketchy. They took my credit card to charge my purchase and didn't give it back until after they gave me order. Seriously felt my account had been compromised so I cancelled it and requested new one. Will only pay cash at this location from now on.

This place does not use the sonic app. For that reason alone it is better to go the shops that actually use it. Location opens later than most I've been to so I left without anything because it wasnt 9am. It's too bad your sonic experience is dampered by the fact you can't preorder with the app at this location.

I really wanted to try the Big Dill Pickle Double Cheese like you see on tv...what I got was a single Big Dill cheeseburger...it had only 3 very little deep fried pickles on it and it was only ok...it was nothing like what you saw on tv...its not something I would order again and I love dill pickles...and the bun it was on was horrible...it would be much better on a sesame seed bun...just a regular hamburger bun...I will not get it again...

Don't order anything that has a bun because it will be served hard as a rock. This is the second time I have purchased a chicken sandwich and the lettuce is severely wilted and the bun is not edible unless you want to break a tooth, shakes are good as always but the food.. not good not worth your money
