Noriega's - Bakersfield

Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. family style meals where everyone sits together like a great happy family. the reservation is required for dinner, not safe about lunch. they put the table with appetizers like salat and suppe and they serve as they are home. then they'll get everyone out of the way until you're so full that you can't finish the ice at the end. the personal is always super nice and welcoming. they also have a good size bar for refreshments while waiting to sit for dinner. in any case would recommend everyone!

Noriega must be the best place for baskenfutter in bakersfield. the building has been around for a LONG time, love the story behind this place. loves the ochsensuppe and the plucked zunge!

Oh, my God. even if eating is not her style, the experience and the people will be! michelle was our hostess, and she's a person who knows everyone and loves everyone, and if she doesn't know you, it won't be long! I visited michigan and I was blown away from the atmosphere of the community, family and community. they are welcome and they are loved at noriega 's! and as they think there is no more food to bring out, they come out with another cure! this experience newly defined family style ess for me and was the highlight of my short time in bakersfield. michelle even made me try a selected kuhzunge (the most exotic point of the night, and I dare to say that I liked it more than I would not have her enthusiasm and love for her shared we came on a weekday, apparently a much less animated night. it is allegedly not usual to have in the situation so much talk with the people next to/over from them due to the noise level that brings the weekend quantity. many people there tonight have come for decades (about 60 years! and a few of the dinners said they were married in noriega 's and/or they had received there. we celebrated a few birthdays and the regular sang in basque. the food was also excellent (also the pickled kuhzunge; an obvious booklet for baskenfutter. Other dinner items seemed far less exotic, and the wee was surprisingly good (I just say that it cost unlimited and free /included in their $25 dinner dinners . we came on Thursday night. good. herr. And that was the second or third cure they have brought out! because there is not much to do in bakersfield, eating in noriega 's is a must.

Been there twice, about twelve years apart. Both times it was one of the best dining experiences of my life.
