The Loft - Bairnsdale

Modern eating, modern ambiente and decor, and the place was half full of a week night! was addressed by a nearby hotel. the gnocchi was rich and velvety, much more beautiful than a lot I had in melbourne.

Delicious food, friendly staff, great service. I had steak (medium to well done) that was supremely cooked, tender and the generous serve of mushroom sauce is the best I have tasted, mouthwatering. We were asked a number of times how is our meal, which I felt was a bit excessive. Highly recommend The Loft.

Dined at this restaurant twice within the past year, very attentive staff and flavoursome dishes but the lack of adequate air conditioning makes it feel like a sauna. Melbourne prices on dishes where the portions don't align.

Recently went here for my mums bday. The waitress was friendly, however the food took a while to come out. Some of the dishes weren't quite right, I tried to point this out to the owner in a friendly manner. He didn't take the feedback to well...asking me what I did for a living and also where I was from!! In the end I gave up and definitely wouldn't venture back!!
