Restaurant Ambiente - Bad Kissingen

Beautiful small Italian with great ambience at the edge of KG. I had the Zuccini soup, pasta with white cabbage and a pizza. The soup was tastefully good and the pasta with white cabbage a combination of which I would not have thought it was so delicious. As I feed HCLF, the pasta was a bit too oily to me. The pizza has also tasted very well while I continue to be against vegan cheese and this has been confirmed here again the next time without ; what was not quite clear to me why there are only 3 pizzas vegan? But I'm sure you could also order a pizza from the other card... I'll try the next time. Typical French :

There is a complete vegan card with appetizers, soups, main dishes and desserts. The appetizer is highly recommended. Some of the dishes hardly differ from non-vegan variants.

If you happen to be in Bad Kissingen your vegan options are scares. This place has its own vegan menue, with a limited choice of Italian inspired dishes. In any other city I would rate the food 3 stars at best, but offering vegan options at all in this area deserves props. Really good was the bruschetta (from the regular menu , the carbonara called soy-cream Spagetti were a little bland and had soy-meat added (I’d preferred good old smoked tofu... , the pizza with vegan cheese had this crispy yet fluffy thin crust of non-Italian pizza places often leaving me wondering if it really is that difficult mixing flower, yeast water and salt. I’d rather have a good Neapolitan crust with no vegan cheese than this. But it tasted good all in all and we enjoyed the view over the attached golf course.

Many restaurants offer 1 2 salads to say that they also offer vegan food. The restaurant Ambiente, however, has its own vegan menu. From vegan pizzas to vegan pasta dishes to salads and desserts, the vegan gets the right choice. I have eaten the vegan gnocchi with zucchini and my wife the vegan vegetable pizza. The restaurant is located on the Bundesstrasse just ahead of Bad Kissingen, but is nowhere big announced. So park directly on the golf course parking, and then follow the golfers; .
