Tortenbakker Im Café Meister

Since this bakery was taken over by a younger team and was advertising vegan options, I was really hopeful. However, whenever we go there they have only one vegan cake (apple), which is super dry. There are biscuits, too, but they are super expensive. I was hoping for more variety, but for the last year it’s always the same cake. Still works in a pinch, but not a great offer really.

After a nice hike of several hours we went to Café Meister and were a bit disappointed that they only had two types of tarteletts left but still were glad that they had something for us. The tarteletts were surprisingly tasty, filled with a pudding creme and covered with fresh, delicious fruits and the coffees too had the perfect temperature and were well made with a nice crema from oat milk. The waitresses were extraordinarily friendly. Overall a great experience!
