Zenith Resto Bar - Bacong

Had only two nights, but I loved my stay here. super friendly staff, immaculate clean room, everything worked and very central in anda. eating options are also reasonable, they have live acoustic music evenings.

I am shocked to see any positive reviews for this place. We booked our reservation through booking.com and arrived at the restaurant to find it empty. Eventually, someone came to assist us after being notified by a passerby. We were then told that someone would come check us in. Once we finally checked in and entered the room, we were horrified by its condition. The hand towels were stained, the bed was infested with ants, the bed sheets were dirty, there was no hot water (only ice-cold water), and the toilet was filthy. The room only consisted of a dirty bed, a dirty toilet, and dirty towels. Once again, there was no staff present upon check out, so we simply left the keys in the door. Despite the air conditioning working well, this place was extremely dirty.

We had a wonderful evening at Zenith restaurant. The rooms were very clean and so was the bar. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Filipino culture. We enjoyed the minestrone soup, spaghetti bolognese, three different salads, and the American breakfast. Everything was delicious! We didn't take any pictures because we ate everything too quickly. The cocktails were also fantastic. The first one was a bit weak for our taste, but the bartender added more tequila until it was just right.

In February 2022, at 11 o'clock, after a long journey from Panglao to Anda, we arrived at this place feeling exhausted and ready to sleep. The staff had to consult with someone else to determine the price, but we were able to secure a room. The room initially appeared neat and clean, but after lying down, we noticed itching all over our bodies and discovered bed bug bites. The bed was dusty underneath, which we had not seen during our initial inspection. We ended up using hand towels as makeshift bed sheets due to the infestation. Despite our discomfort, we did not inform the staff as we were too tired. We left around 5 o'clock in the morning and left the key on the door since there were no employees present at that time.

The place is comfortable and convenient, its a few meters away from the beach which makes it ideal, since you will still be able to have restful sleep away from the busy night events of the beach front. Food is also good and affordable. If you are with kids and senior citizens, it might be a bit challenge since they place have a lot of stairs. But its all worth it.
