Bidrage med feedbackA lunch at La Schiavenza is always on every time I visit Piedmont. My favourites are the Fassona tartare and the mixed cured meats platters. All meats and cheeses are raised/made on the farm. They also have great ice cream and a farm shop
Really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We speak very little Italian but we managed just fine, and the staff were able to help us to understand each course. We had our kids with us and the were very accommodating with them too. The atmosphere was great this is obviously a very popular family restaurant and we felt we were experiencing the real Italy. Fantastic wine and much of the produce came from on site. The food just kept on coming and everything was delicious. Would highly recommend.
WOW! Fresh authentic local cuisine in an old stone farmhouse setting. All local, organic food with most produced on this property, including meats. The place was spotlessly clean and the bill was half of what I expected to pay for this quality of food, wine and service. We drank many bottles of the local Piverone wine and it was enjoyed by all. This is the restaurant that you see in a movie and wish that you could go there.
After a nice walk in the village of piverone and a piece of the via francigena you will arrive on this farm. excellent and genuine food at zero km. fast and organized. they also have their ice cream with the milk of their cows. I found myself very well. I recommend it with the walk out there.
With the beginning of summer is my habit of going to this beautiful place, because for me it is a fundamental stage of my culinary culture. to accompany me in this wonderful adventure is always my partner of restaurants, with which I share many culinary adventures. the experience inside this green lung begins in the late afternoon, when the sun is still high, it is nice to still enjoy the last hot rays of the day in the company of a great spritz. These beverages can usually be served with a corresponding cutter, the latter contains all the embryos of the policy of restoration of cognition. all the products are homemade, from cold cuts to cheese and other dishes that are served according to the seasonal cycle. once at sunset there is still room for a second round, and therefore can not miss a second cutter but surely lighter in quantity. focacce, cheeses and meats of all kinds come from the plywood, all strictly at km and it is time to go inside the room to cool down. just before sitting down is my usual habit of making a ride among the tables to enjoy the light of the dusk in relation to the furniture of the room, since it marries to wonder, the large windows perfectly enhance this perfect environmental wedding. the dinner begins with a small appetizer offered politely by the house, a perfect bridge that perfectly combines the aperitif outside and dinner. result? A little dismay with a salami. Finally start with appetizers, we take a seasonal appetizer of the house which is really ideal to start a dinner in the most total freshness. the dish consists of cooked ham, fresh cherry tomatoes and fresh cheese of the house (type of ricotto). at the end of the dish it is possible to find a green sauce with which to enrich the cheese, a little strong but in the right doses is what is stressed. follow the first ones that are the true heart of their traditional cuisine, in this particular circumstance we have taken ravioli of the house. My commensale opted for ravioli full of meat, and I made borage. no substantial difference between the two in terms of quality, changes only that its dish was accompanied by a form of cheese of the house already anticipated in the appetizers. Since the culinary day began early (only before the twilight hour), we decided to stop without missing one of the immortal classics of the house on the sweet card. or the house tiramisu! This last reach is really a heart of inordigy, it is absolutely impossible to tell him not. In fact, every time we go to shame, we kindly ask the waitresss to block the desired course on the contrary, because if after it goes into exhaustion a real withdrawal crisis begins. the dinner was accompanied by a bottle of natural water, and a bottle of franciacorta (we are lovers of wines of those lands). valentine never lies is always a wine that respects expectations and bubbles are all year round. everything ends with a good coffee and finally everything at home. we look forward to returning to enjoy this wonderful experience that is always wonderful.
