EPICERIE DE JULIE - Azay-le-Rideau

We had such a great experience in the l’epicerie de julie. the food was fresh, homemade and delicious. the weeping was a very good surprise. we recommend julie and her restaurant. it is certainly not a tourist trap! they will not be disappointed! thank you. julie for this wonderful evening.

We thought of another restaurant that was full and were very happy to find this place. delicious food, an excellent white wine (cubée silex) and julie was very helpful and friendly. we shared the antipasti plate and then Lasagne...forestière and linguine au pesto had all excellent, fresh and beautiful presented. overall highly recommended and worth a visit. merci julie.

The food was good. Basic Italian fare, mostly pre-prepared. We ended up here by default since the other restaurants were full but we enjoyed our meal. Service was good and prices very reasonable.

Really loved it. popped in when walking through the town with the dog. picked up some bits and pieces.

We wanted to have dinner here but off-season, Julie only serves lunch. Best lasagne bolognese I've had. Julie's father used to supply pasta to restaurants around Europe, and it shows. The place is small, and very intimate. When we returned for espresso, her daughter was...doing her homework at one of the tables. We felt very welcome.
