Peppers On Queens - Ayr

Staying at the Country Ayr Motel, we decided to eat in. What a good decision that was. The Asian smorgasbord was excellent and breakfast the next morning equally comprehensive. This is a hidden country gem.

We were traveling to Port Douglas and just needed a place to stay for the night. It was Good Friday, so not many places were open, but this hotel had a restaurant. The buffet dinner was delicious! For $135, we got a comfortable queen bed and a complimentary buffet breakfast. It was all we needed while passing through town. Highly recommend this place.

The buffet breakfast at this restaurant is a great deal at $15. You get eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, hash browns, baked beans, fruit salad, cereals, and toast, all of good quality and in generous portions. While there are no fancy pastries, there is a machine for making proper coffee. Compared to other breakfast options in town, such as Chill or Del Santos, this buffet offers the best value for your money.

Kelvin and Sally work really hard to supply both quality food and accommodation at their family owned and operated business. We have been to Peppers on Queens many times and will continue to return again as the food and service is always wonderful. Their buffet breakfast and night smorgasbord are both great value for money. You are doing such a great job and we look forward to returning again real soon.
